SCOPE:
The scope of work for this project required that Torres Construction make substantial noise reduction improvements to a highly traveled and congested section of the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles A major focus of the project was to improve an overpass area of the freeway that housed trucks and other large county owned vehicles. For this project we provided fencing, pylons, gravel resurfacing, landscaping and paving. Torres handled all the permits and traffic control for the project and it was completed on budget, on schedule, and to the clients’ complete satisfaction.

SUMMARY:
Working on a high volume, popular public freeway required judicious monitoring of our work environment, to make sure that every precaution possible was taken to ensure the safety of both our crews and the general public.
