SCOPE:
This was a Design – Build project for which Torres Construction performed extensive tenant improvements in accordance with the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) for the County of Santa Clara’s, Santa Clara Valley Hospital and Health System.

SUMMARY:
Understanding the sensitivity of working in a hospital environment with medical examination offices, laboratories, and other such facilities, was paramount concern to managing the construction of this project. Torres Construction Project Managers and Superintendents had to be judicious in making sure that all subcontractors and labor forces complied completely with OSHPD standards, taking every precaution possible to deliver this project incident free and to the client’s satisfaction.
