SCOPE:
The scope of this project required that Torres Construction make substantial improvements to a popular public beach area by installing 2 miles of new sewer lines along with a 4 foot high sand retaining wall. The project also required the construction of several 10ft. by 25ft. long, poured in place, concrete concession stands for bike rentals, numerous concrete registration kiosks, the creation of a new paved parking lot, concrete curbing installation, and a poured concrete bike path.

SUMMARY:
Working on a popular public beach required judicious monitoring of our work environment, to make sure that every precaution possible was taken to ensure the safety of the general public. Furthermore, this was a very schedule sensitive project, adjacent to several active businesses that had to remain open during construction Careful efforts were maintained to keep both the site as attractive as possible and all visitors and pedestrians safe. Which included adequate fencing and an overall organized and uncluttered job site.
