Superintendent:

The Superintendent is responsible for the supervision of all field activities related to the physical construction of the project. He or she reports to, and carries out the directives of the Project Manager with respect to field operations, and thereby directs the daily progress of the work. The Superintendent will provide on-site administrative and technical management on all types of projects. The Superintendent must assure that the combination of all components on a project results in a cohesive product that achieves the required quality and is completed in the shortest possible time.
