SCOPE:
The scope of this project was to mak Delevan Elementary School compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Torres Construction replaced the existing door hardware with ADA compliant hardware, removed the existing toilets replacing them with ADA compliant ones, installed new handrails and gates, adjusted ramp elevations, and painted new striping and posted new ADA signage. The following trades were utilized in completing this project: painting, plumbing, carpentry, concrete work, and metal fabrication.

SUMMARY:
This project was performed throughout the normal administrative office and school hours, requiring that crew members taking extra precautions to maintain a zero incident and safe working environment at all times. This project was completed successfully and without disruption to school staff or students.
